Danielle Ackerman

I am a keen third year Criminology Student at BNU, single parent and small business owner. I am eager to bring a voice for all groups within the University to Council this year.

My lived, struggled experience has taught me to be diplomatic and I’m very excited to be using my experience as a voice for others within the University. All students arrive at BNU with a goal, but life and its pressures can sometimes make people just feel like giving up, with some groups having no option to walk away from what they set out to achieve.

If we all bring together our knowledge, support each other and communicate our struggles, I am confident that BNU will be that place that changes life for many – me included!
