The lecturers have been incredibly supportive and helpful and created an environment where it has been enjoyable to learn the foundations for, what can be, a challenging career. The best advice a lecturer has given me during the course is "You get out of it what you put in". This has never been more true.Jennifer Brown
BNU is not just all work, our Student's Union is rated in the top 5 in the UK (National Student Survey, 2021). The Student's Union is a vibrant social place where students across the University can socialise, undertake extra-curricular activities, try a new sport or just let off some steam.
You can also join the Nursing or Midwifery societies that organise a variety of activities to support your academic studies, as well as social events. Alongside these societies, there are many others that cover other academic or social interests like Aviation, Roller skating and Raise and Give (RAG)!
