Undergraduate Entry Requirements
Academic entry requirements
We require successful completion of West African Examinations Certificate (with five subject passes at C6 or above) and successful completion of a recognised foundation course.
If you do not meet these requirements you may be eligible to study our foundation programme. Please send copies of your qualifications directly to us at admissions@bucks.ac.uk.
Mathematics entry requirements
Students need the equivalent of GCSE Mathematics grade C/4.
English entry requirements
Students are not required to provide an English Certificate if they achieve a score of C6 in the English Language subject of the West African Examinations Certificate (WAEC).
All English tests and/or waivers need to be taken within the last 2 years. This is to ensure they are in line with other popular tests such as IELTS and PTE.
Postgraduate Entry Requirements
Academic entry requirements
We require successful completion of a Bachelor degree with an overall pass from a UK NARIC-recognised institution.
Mathematics entry requirements
Students need the equivalent of GCSE Mathematics grade C/4.
English entry requirements
Students are not required to provide an English Certificate if they achieve a score of C6 in the English Language subject of the West African Examinations Certificate (WAEC).
All English waivers need to be taken within the last 5 years for postgraduate applications. Any English qualifications such as IELTS, PTE and TOEFL need to be taken within 2 years.

Please note that the entry criteria detailed below is for the majority of courses, however some courses such as BSc (Hons) Nursing, BSc (Hons) Professional Practice (Healthcare), BSc (Hons) Social Work and BA (Hons) Air Transport with Commercial Pilot may require higher academic and English levels.
