Sasha Leek
In my role I promote engagement with schools and colleges encouraging participation amongst under represented groups. I deliver and manage creative and effective outreach activities that include Futures Days, Saturday Arts Club, Mentoring and Transition support. Supporting and inspiring young people is at the forefront of what I do. I passionately try and help young people to believe in themselves, to discover their own pathways and if they apply to BNU it’s an added bonus!
I studied Applied Social Science at University which included race relations, social work, social policy, gender and sexuality and criminology – all of which helped spark my interest in creating positive opportunities for all regardless of background and barriers faced.
When I’m not working I support various community projects, belong to a local running group, love to travel and can be spotted at various festivals and gigs with glitter on my face.
